Our online system collects information and sends it to our actuary to calculate and prepare an Actuarial certificate to enable your Self Managed Super Fund to claim Exempt Current Pension Income (ECPI). You must apply for an Actuarial Certificate before you get your accounts audited for the financial year.

The auditor of the SMSF is required to check if correct exempt income percentage has been used in the income tax return before it is lodged with the tax office. Only a qualified actuary can issue this certificate.

Once you apply for an actuarial certificate, our website will instantly email preliminary exempt income percentage calculated by our automatic system so that you can continue to finalize your accounts. Final actuarial certificate is emailed to you after thorough checking of your data by our actuary, usually within hours.
